Nanjing Zinox Pharmaceutical Ltd. (Zinox Pharma) is a joint venture and a result of strategic alliance between Nanjing Zhongshi Chemical Ltd. and Beijing Jicai Pharmaceutical Technology Ltd. formed in 2001.

Zinox Pharma is currently headquartered in Shanghai housing the company's R&D, sales and marketing as well as customer service departments. Beijing Jicai Pharmaceutical Technology Ltd. is a leading private pharmaceutical technology development company in China with a portfolio of new pharmaceutical products. Beijing Jicai was founded by Prof. Jiaxiang Shen, a pioneer and authority of pharmaceutical R&D in China and formerly Deputy Chief Scientific Officer of the State Pharmaceutical Administration of China (now State Drug Administration). The company is known for its invention of a Chinese-patented new crystalline form of azithromycin.
